Dauphine Magazine

Tasked with creating a 3 page astrology themed wedding dress spread for the Toronto based magazine. I was provided with the photos of the dresses, each corresponding to a particular astrological sign. From there, I created hand drawn assets of the dresses and the constellations, sourced aesthetically similar cc images, cut all the images and arranged them in a beautiful collage-like manner. I wanted to be able to showcase the dresses first and foremost, while subtly giving a nod to the character of each astrological sign. I wanted the spread to feel romantic and etherial.

Collages are one of my favourite things to make. I feel like there is so much freedom involved to be able to create, and even the most minor alteration can completely change the overall vibe of the piece.
